Scandinavian Style
Same type of chicken—but add a dash of mace, and cardamon to the flour, along with the salt and pepper.
Fry in hot oil. Remove.
Add chopped onion and garlic, as in the other recipes. Add chicken bouillon (or powdered chicken broth), and 1/4 cup white wine. Add 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cucumber, and 1/4 cup sliced radishes, and cook until vegetables are barely soft.
Add more wine, if necessary.
Taste sauce and add enough mace and cardamon to give the mixture some punch.
Return chicken to pan and heat through.
Serve with whole wheat berries cooked in chicken broth until they're soft.
